Guest Authoring on the Waystone Blog
Our club’s focus is on encouraging fun, growth, and connection through the miniature games that we love. The Waystone blog is part of that mission, and we’re excited to open it up to a wide array of hobby-related contributions from throughout the community.
If you’re interested in writing something and having it shared across our community, social media platforms, and beyond, here’s what you’ll need:
How to Contribute!
HAVE THE RIGHT TOPIC.
Examples include…
Hobby Highlight. Raising awareness or sharing personal experiences about a particular aspect of the hobby.
Community Building. Your perspective, based on personal experience, regarding community-building and opportunities for miniatures games to become more welcoming, friendly, or inclusive.
Community News. Highlighting something special that’s going on in the club or club Discord server.
Event Report. Reporting on a hobby-related event that you attended and what made it special.
PITCH YOUR IDEA BELOW.
We don’t want you to spend hours writing something only to tell you that it isn’t a good fit. Fill out the form below to pitch your idea first.
KEEP IT CONCISE.
Your post should be between 500-1000 words. This will help people stay engaged with the entire post.
EDITING.
Before submitting the guest post, do your best to ensure that it is free of errors in grammar, spelling, and punctuation. We’ll then have 1-2 editors from the community offer ideas about how to tighten the piece or make your message as clear as possible.
PUBLISHING
We’ll publish your piece in the Waystone blog and share it with the community!
