Dedicated Hours // Easier Booking

Week by week, we see Waystone growing–people connecting over games, caring for one another and the space, and folding others into the community. Excitement is palpable, the vibes are good, and in response we are making some improvements to the club’s schedule and reservation system.

Waystone is now going to have dedicated hours. This will help us meet some needs identified in last month’s Community Survey, respond to popular feedback from folks who’ve been curious about the space and, as a nice bonus, loosen the requirements around booking tables in advance. Members and pass-holders can now book any available table via the website as long as it isn’t same-day, and anyone who does want to try for a last-minute table can still drop in or message us to check availability.

Waystone’s New (Dedicated) Hours:

Monday: Closed
Tuesday: Closed
Wednesday: 4:00pm - 10:00pm
Thursday: 4:00pm - 10:00pm
Friday: 4:00pm - 11:00pm
Saturday: 11:00am - 10:00pm
Sunday: 11:00am - 10:00pm

You’ll notice some differences from our old booking availability. We looked over our booking data and shaved off times that were very rarely attended in order to make sure the length of our days are still reasonable. Furthermore, it’s important to note that the closing times here are simply when we’re shutting our doors to walk-ins—you’ll still be able to book a table that goes until 10:30, as has always been the case.

We’re able to accommodate more games than ever now that we have a functional table in the studio room, but as we continue growing, and the jokes about knocking down the wall to the adjoining Allstate office begin to feel more and more serious, it’s exciting to dream about Waystone’s future. For now, establishing these hours keeps us moving in the right direction. We’re looking forward to making even more incremental improvements as we continue learning what it means to nurture the world’s first wargaming speakeasy!
